LeeX City Discovery Ecosystem

LeeX is a city discovery ecosystem building a smarter way for people to discover businesses, places, events, services and experiences around them. Founded and led by Oscar Awowari, Founder & CEO, LeeX focuses on connecting fragmented city information into a more structured and discoverable ecosystem. The platform explores the intersection of location, local commerce, events, tourism, hospitality, technology and AI. Instead of treating businesses, places and events as isolated listings, LeeX aims to connect them through location and context—helping people discover not only where something is, but what else exists around it and what they can do next. Starting from Nigeria with a global outlook, LeeX is exploring how a scalable city discovery layer can serve residents, visitors and businesses across cities. LeeX — discover more around you.

LeeX Beta

LeeX is a city discovery and location intelligence platform founded and led by Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, with a long-term vision to organize, understand, and enhance the relationship between people and the places around them. LeeX begins with a fundamental problem: information about cities remains fragmented across maps, directories, websites, social networks and separate platforms, making it difficult for people to discover and understand the places, activities and infrastructure that shape everyday urban life. The LeeX Beta vision approaches this problem by building a structured digital representation of cities around three permanent pillars: Businesses, Events and Infrastructure. Businesses represent the commercial and service layer of a city, including restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, educational institutions, healthcare providers, entertainment venues and other organizations. Events represent the temporal and activity layer, connecting conce...

LeeX: How Does LeeX Organize Cities? Oscar Awowari CEO of LeeX

How Does LeeX Organize Cities? Cities are full of information. Businesses, restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, markets, banks, offices, event centres, shopping malls, transport locations, recreational spaces and countless other places exist within every major city. Yet finding the right information about these places can still be surprisingly difficult. This is one of the problems LeeX is being built to solve. LeeX is a city discovery platform designed to organize information about places, businesses, events and infrastructure so that people can discover their cities more easily. Instead of treating a city as simply a collection of streets and coordinates, LeeX aims to make the city itself more discoverable, structured and understandable. What Does It Mean for LeeX to Organize a City? When we say LeeX organizes cities, we do not mean that LeeX controls or physically manages a city. LeeX organizes the information layer of a city. Think about a city such as Port Harcourt. There...

How Does LeeX Connect People With Businesses, Events and Infrastructure?

How Does LeeX Connect People With Businesses, Events and Infrastructure? Finding a place should be simple. You should be able to open a platform, choose what you are interested in, discover relevant locations around you, understand what they offer, and continue exploring what is nearby. This is one of the ideas behind LeeX. Founded by Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, with Elvis Awowari, Co-founder and CTO of LeeX, LeeX is being developed as a city discovery platform designed to connect people with the businesses, events and infrastructure that exist around them. The idea is straightforward: People are in places. Businesses are in places. Events happen in places. Infrastructure exists in places. LeeX connects these elements through location-based discovery. What Is LeeX? LeeX is a location and city discovery platform designed to help people discover businesses, events, infrastructure and other places within cities. Rather than requiring users to search for every location ind...

Why I Started Building LeeX

Every startup begins with a question. For me, that question was simple: Why is discovering a city still so difficult? My name is Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX. While observing how people interact with businesses, events, and public infrastructure, I noticed that valuable information is often scattered across multiple platforms. Businesses struggle for visibility. Events struggle for attention. Infrastructure remains underrepresented online. This observation inspired LeeX. LeeX is being developed as a discovery ecosystem built around three pillars: Businesses Events Infrastructure The goal is to make cities easier to understand, explore, and experience. Today, that vision is taking shape through LeeX Beta. Tomorrow, it may evolve into LeeX AI, an intelligent discovery platform capable of helping people explore the world around them more naturally. Every great journey starts somewhere. LeeX is mine. — Oscar Awowari

The Future of Cities Is Discovery

Cities are becoming smarter. Technology is becoming more intelligent. Information is becoming more accessible. Yet discovering what exists around us remains surprisingly difficult. A city may contain thousands of businesses, hundreds of events, and important pieces of infrastructure, but many people never discover them. That is one of the reasons I started building LeeX. LeeX is a city discovery ecosystem designed to help people find opportunities hidden within their communities. Imagine being able to discover: Local businesses Cultural events Tourist attractions Public infrastructure Community opportunities All from one ecosystem. Through LeeX Beta, these ideas are being transformed into practical systems. Looking ahead, LeeX AI may help users interact with cities through intelligent conversations, making discovery faster and more meaningful. The future isn't just smart cities. The future is discoverable cities. — Oscar Awowari

Building LeeX as a Student Entrepreneur

Many people assume startups begin after graduation. My journey has been different. My name is Oscar Awowari, a Public Health Science student and Founder of LeeX. While balancing academics and entrepreneurship, I've learned that building a startup isn't only about technology. It's about solving problems. The problem I chose to focus on is city discovery. Every day, businesses open their doors, events bring communities together, and infrastructure supports millions of people. Yet many of these opportunities remain undiscovered. LeeX was created to help bridge that gap. The current phase, LeeX Beta, focuses on building the foundations of the ecosystem. Every lesson learned today contributes to the future vision of LeeX AI. The journey is challenging. The learning is continuous. The mission remains clear. Build something useful. — Oscar Awowari
