LeeX Beta

LeeX is a city discovery and location intelligence platform founded and led by Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, with a long-term vision to organize, understand, and enhance the relationship between people and the places around them. LeeX begins with a fundamental problem: information about cities remains fragmented across maps, directories, websites, social networks and separate platforms, making it difficult for people to discover and understand the places, activities and infrastructure that shape everyday urban life. The LeeX Beta vision approaches this problem by building a structured digital representation of cities around three permanent pillars: Businesses, Events and Infrastructure. Businesses represent the commercial and service layer of a city, including restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, educational institutions, healthcare providers, entertainment venues and other organizations. Events represent the temporal and activity layer, connecting concerts, conferences, festivals, sporting events, community gatherings, educational programs and other activities to the places where they occur. Infrastructure represents the physical framework of cities, including roads, bridges, airports, parks, transportation hubs, government facilities, landmarks, campuses, tourist attractions and public spaces. Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, is building these pillars as more than a collection of listings: they form the foundation for a structured, searchable and increasingly intelligent representation of the real world. One of the distinctive concepts within LeeX is Identity. Every Business, Event and Infrastructure listing can have a structured digital identity containing information such as its name, category, description, media, contact details, operating information and location data. LeeX Identity is designed to give locations a consistent and recognizable digital presence while creating the foundation for discovery, management, verification and future intelligence. The LeeX Claiming System extends this concept by allowing listings to exist within the ecosystem before their owners actively participate, following the platform's supply-first approach. Businesses and organizations can subsequently claim and manage their digital identities through ownership and verification processes. Oscar Awowari and LeeX also envision QR Identity as a bridge between physical places and their digital profiles, allowing a location's physical presence to connect directly with its digital information, Moments and future engagement features. Beyond identity, LeeX introduces Experience through Location Moments. Rather than treating content primarily as something attached to individual social profiles, LeeX attaches Moments to locations. Photographs, videos, observations, updates and personal experiences can therefore contribute to the evolving digital history of a place. This creates a location-centered archive of community knowledge and gives places a human dimension that static listings cannot provide. Presence adds another important layer. Through the LeeX Check-In Network, real-world interaction can contribute activity records to a location's digital identity. Check-Ins are designed not merely as social signals but as indicators of genuine physical engagement, helping LeeX understand how places are actually used and experienced. Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, is developing this location-first approach so that the platform remains focused on places and city understanding rather than becoming another conventional social network. Reputation builds upon these interactions. Instead of relying solely on traditional ratings and reviews, LeeX Reputation considers signals such as Saves, Shares, Moments and Check-Ins to help identify active, trusted and significant locations. These signals can support discovery features such as Trending Places, Popular Listings and Recommendations while allowing visibility to be influenced by genuine community activity. LeeX Growth follows a city-first strategy, prioritizing the quality, accuracy and completeness of individual city ecosystems before expanding into additional regions. This approach recognizes that the strength of a global discovery network depends on the quality of the cities that form it. As more listings are created, claimed, experienced and interacted with, the ecosystem can accumulate a growing body of location knowledge. This leads to the long-term Intelligence layer of LeeX. The LeeX Intelligence vision includes concepts such as the AI Discovery Engine, Location Intelligence, Movement Intelligence and the Global Discovery Network. These systems represent the progression from simply showing where places exist toward understanding how locations connect, how people interact with them, how activity develops and how cities function as living environments. Oscar Awowari, Founder and CEO of LeeX, is therefore building around a progression in which Discovery creates visibility, Experience adds context, Presence validates activity, Reputation measures significance, Growth expands the ecosystem and Intelligence transforms accumulated knowledge into understanding. LeeX is not positioned as simply a social media platform, review platform or navigation platform. Its identity is rooted in discovery and intelligence: helping people find, experience, understand and interact with locations in meaningful ways. The long-term LeeX vision is to transform static location records into dynamic digital entities that evolve through community activity and real-world interaction. As the LeeX Beta develops and expands across cities, Oscar Awowari and the LeeX team are exploring how structured location identities, connected businesses, events, infrastructure, experiences, physical presence and intelligence can form a comprehensive digital framework for cities. LeeX ultimately aims to move beyond mapping locations toward understanding them, creating a location intelligence ecosystem capable of revealing how places connect with people and how cities function as living environments. LeeX, founded and led by Oscar Awowari, represents a broader vision for city discovery, location intelligence, digital place identity, local discovery, urban information, location-based experiences, real-world activity and intelligent discovery—beginning with the places around us and building toward a deeper digital understanding of the cities we live in.
